Phones with eSIM

  • Apple iPhone XS, XR and later. Most models sold in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao have no eSIM.
  • Google Pixel 3 and later. Some Pixel 3, 3a and 4 models have no eSIM, depending on where they were sold.
  • Other makers, such as Samsung: dial *#06# and look for an EID.

Keep your own number

Most phones with eSIM hold two lines. Your home SIM keeps your number for calls and texts, and the EuropeSIM eSIM carries your data.

Texts such as bank codes still reach your home line. Your home carrier may charge for texts and calls abroad.

Montenegro has three national networks: Crnogorski Telekom, m:tel and One. 4G reaches most of the country, and 5G is available in the larger towns, including Podgorica, Budva, Kotor and Tivat. The signal is weaker in the mountains, such as Durmitor, and in some remote areas. Montenegro is not in the EU or the EEA, so the EU roaming rules do not apply here.

No. Our plans carry data and do not come with a local number. Your home number stays on your phone.
